Reports reaching Naijacona has it that Oyo State politician, Hon Temitope Olatoye "AkA" ‘Sugar’ by his admirers is shot dead. He died at the intensive care unit of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, on Saturday evening, following the gunshot wound he sustained after he was shot in the eye by unknown gunmen said to be in army uniform. A reliable source at the UCH, Ibadan, had confirmed the incident. The lawmaker was reported to have sustained gunshot injury this afternoon and was admitted at the emergency unit of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.
The 47-year-old Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency of Oyo State representative was taken to the hospital in critical condition and doctors at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) battled to save his life but he eventually passed on.
